Simpsons To Spoof The Dead Zone

The Simpsons: The annual Treehouse of Horror episode Sunday features takeoffs on The Dead Zone, Fantastic Voyage (sort of) and Sherlock Holmes-Jack the Ripper tales. As usual, Fox isn't calling this a season premiere, making The Simpsons the only show with an exhibition game. James Caan and author Thomas Pynchon play themselves in the Nov. 14 season "premiere." 7 p.m. Sundays
