Dead Zone Makes It To TV Gal!

Zap2it's TV Gal runs a list of her fav, summer cable programing and guess who's on it!

"The Dead Zone": Now that Johnny is moving on with Jack Bauer's ex-girlfriend, the show has finally broken away from the Johnny/ Sarah/ Walt romance. Truly, there was nowhere for the show to go with a story line that was doomed to keep repeating itself. In its thriving third season, there have been great guest stars, compelling episodes (I loved the recent wedding episode), and new and surprising takes on Johnny's gift (he was able to stop a shooting at a high school by saving a young boy before anything happened to him). "The Dead Zone" is the rare series that seamlessly interweaves stand-alone episodes (watch Johnny save men trapped in a coal mine) with the ongoing arc of Johnny's fight to bring the evil Stillson down. However, unlike other cult, fantasy series such as "Alias," viewers can drop in any time and figure out the plot fairly quickly. "The Dead Zone" is a well cast, well acted series where all the parts (particularly the visually jolting special effects) work. And you don't need to be a psychic to know that.
