NEWS FLASH

Former STAR TREK writer/producer Michael Piller announced today that he will step down as the head writer of his hit USA Network genre series THE DEAD ZONE, gradually turning over showrunner duties to Karl Schaefer as production ramps up on six new summer episodes May 5th. Schaefer created the series STRANGE LUCK and EERIE, INDIANA and is joined by a new creative consultant on the series Mike Cassutt, who has written on THE TWILIGHT ZONE, FARSCAPE, MAX HEADROOM and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
