Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 will mark the end of the line for CBS' Emmy-nominated team of Earth-bound angels. With a two-part finale spanning two episodes, "Touched by an Angel" will shuffle off its mortal coil after nine morally uplifting seasons.
The finale is written by executive producer Martha Williamson and Burt Pool with Luke Schelhaas. Larry Peerce directs a cast laden with returning guest stars including Oscar and Emmy winners. Patty Duke, Marion Ross, Randy Travis, Cloris Leachman, Paul Winfield, David Ogden Stiers and Patrick Duffy are among those slated to appear
