PILLER2 INTERVIEW!
Corona's Test Pattern has a great interview with the Pillers! It has a great picture of them hard at work.

TP: One of the great and innovative things going on is the The Dead Zone website and how it's being run. I don't know if was Michael's idea, or yours, but what are your thoughts on having the scripts and treatments online. It's a really great idea for writers and devoted fans of the series.

Shawn Piller: I think it's fun to have that online. When you get to be in Michael's position, I think he likes to give back to people younger than him who don't always have the perspective or experience… because you're still learning and growing. Michael looks back on his career and of course he's really proud of it but he also really reflects on people that have helped him along the way. He's always been that way but I think he's figuring out in a way that, not only is it fun for him to do but it's also fun to give back. The process is so fascinating from the inside making the show that you can't help but believe that other people would find it fascinating too. We just think it's cool for the website but the other thing we're doing is the "D" storylines and try to literally do what we talked about in college like, "How can we change television?" It's something we always talked about but even if it's low budget we try and do it. We have a person dedicated to it and I don't know how many are doing that.
