MORE ON CRONENBERG'S SPIDER
Globe News give some insite into Cronenberg's new twisted movie.
Spider began as a novel by British writer Patrick McGrath, and Cronenberg has rarely adapted anybody else's writing for the screen (Dead Zone, from a Stephen King novel, is the other exception). But some assume he couldn't resist it because the novel is inherently dark, concerning as it does a disturbed child who apparently kills his mother, and then spends his life as an adult writing a garbled diary recalling the event.

Sounds creepy good, can't wait to see it
