DEAD ZONE VERY MUCH ALIVE

The second season premiere of The Dead Zone on USA Network Jan. 5 scored a 3.2 household rating and some 4.1 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
That performance made it the most-watched second-season debut of a drama series on basic cable ever, according to network officials.
The program was the highest-rated show on ad-supported cable in terms of households, adults 18 through 49 (a 2.2 average from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.) and adults 25 through 54 (also a 2.2).
The hit series, based on characters from the Stephen King novel of the same name, earned a 4.7 household rating when it premiered June 16 -- the highest series debut in basic cable history.
The 13 premiere installments of The Dead Zone’s first season averaged a 3.14 household rating, according to USA
