DEAD ZONE COMES TO CANADA
Halifax Daily News has an article on upcoming shows.
Stephen King fans can rejoice. After a hugely successful run in the U.S. starting last June, the new series The Dead Zone is coming to town (premiering Tuesday on Space at 10 p.m.). In case you don’t remember the 1983 movie: a happy, engaged teacher (Anthony Michael Hall replaces Christopher Walken) emerges from a six-year coma to find his fiancee (Nicole deBoer) remarried and with a son. But even worse, he’s acquired the ability to foresee the future, which is not as much of a gift as you might think. The series was created by a writer-producer on the three TV Star Treks: TNG, DSN and Voyage.
